I was listening to the radio this morning. The heads on NPR were talking about the heparin contamination crises, and one of the soundclips opened with a woman testifying before Congress about how bad heparin killed her husband. She opened with this gem:

Date: 2008-05-06 05:18 pm (UTC)I *love* NPR, and I generally have no difficulty sorting out the slant from the data, but really: sometimes they drive me nuts. I remember, not long after the Columbine shootings, Morning Edition did an entire week of blatant attacks on guns & gun ownership - tried to make it a public-health policy matter, for cryin' out loud. They would never have held still for a similar attack on any other element of the Constitution....
