Santorum: There should be no birth control
Feb. 9th, 2012 06:58 amI just heard Santorum's interview with Bill O'Rielly, where he talks about how "artificial" birth control is "something that lets people do what they want to do without the responsibility that comes with it. I think it's wrong. I think it's harmful to women."
I bet Santorum wears a seatbelt. I bet he vaccinated his kids. Where is the respect before God that his faith demands, when he drives, and sends his children out into the public, while shielding them from the responsibility that comes with driving, or even meeting other people?
Ohhh, but it's all about the SEX, don't you know. Santorum's stance is obvious: he wants to punish women for having unauthorized sex, and the punishment he wants to inflict is pregnancy and subservience before men. The entire Republican Party base, men and women, want to punish their fellow human beings for having sex and pleasure. That's all there is to it.
