I suppose we must all have wondered sometimes about the choices the press make about which stories to cover. So I have some sympathy with this idea.

But the execution, by their own description, makes my skin crawl.

The Reverend Marcus Morris (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eagle_(comic)#Original_version) did it better.
