Someday, they'll thank me for this!
Jan. 24th, 2007 09:33 pmI made minestrone for the kids tonight, the real kind, with the pasta cooked separately and added last to prevent mushiness, with pancetta and chicken broth. I even cubed bread and melted cheese on top for Kouryou-chan, and the kids still didn't like it. Grr. They eat well enough, but sometimes I wish they'd appreciate all the effort.
Yamaraashi-chan is writing cute skiffy for a nine-year-old, and Kouryou-chan got her hands on the labeler last night and now I have a label: "daddy".
Omaha threatened to slug me if I uploaded the video I took last night of her seizure up onto YouTube.
I went to the gym today. The New Year's Resolution crowd seems to have gone now, and I busted my butt doing the arms, abs and back exercises.

Sweetie assures me I've never actually seen a seizure, so I worry.
