Webcomics are nothing new. Diary blogs are nothing new. Cute girls doing their diary blogs as a webcomic are nothing new (although most of them do it poorly). Even cute girls doing their diary webcomic blogs with extra doses of surrealism is nothing new.

But when the girl in question lives in Mexico City, you get a weird and fascinating view of a world you've never had before. Pilli rocks!

I can't tell how much of a diary/journal the comic is, but those parts that do seem true-to-life fascinate me because she puts up with so much rampant sexism and outright harassment, and yet her civilization doesn't seem to be falling down around her ears. The cultural difference are just slight enough to seem all the more pronounced.

If this is a diary, she lives in the Twilight Zone. But I like the drawing and I think the story line is pretty interesting.

... and comic strip with Quezelcoatl gets cool points so thanks for turing us on to it.

By the way, how did you hear about this?
