I am totally getting old. This afternoon, Omaha and I met up and went to the local food court for lunch. Once upon a time, I might have letched at the young women there, thinking one was cute or pretty or whatever. Today, my reaction was universally, "And your parents let you out of the house dressed like that?"

Okay, I'm ready for the nursing home. Take me away, Martha Raye, Polident user.

Edit: I have been advised that it is Martha Raye who pimped Polident in the late 1970s and 1980s. Martha Gramm was a famous ballet choreographer who, as far as I can tell, never fronted for anyone.

I think it's that you're getting closer and closer to having to tell your own daughters that they're not allowed to go out in public like that. The transition from admiring the scenery to feeling more solidarity with the parents of the scenery in question is one of the most tragic known. *sadly shakes head*

After they're in college, do I get better? (Crud, when they're in college, I'll be too old to care, neh?)

I'm futher informed that, no, you don't get better when they're in college. Specifically, when they are in college and out from underneath the parental thumb, they get about an order of magnitude worse just out of relief at being able to (2/3rds of my parent's kids came out of the closet their freshman year in college, though that was more a reaction to being the hell out of Missouri than anything to do with the 'rents, for both of us). Thus, the level of parental angst gets worse while the level of parental ability to control the problem gets lower.

As for the rest, I've heard that there are nice people operating out of P.O. boxes in Nevada that can help you with that via email.

Just more refine to tastfullness. You can still be slutty in your persona, but well dress to impress. My way of thinking is, Why look like a slut when you can suprise them behind close door and Role Play it there.

I just turn 30 and I don't feel it, but driving by Bancor today seeing all those gold diggers near that college, I think that what it was off 16 down yawnder a ways thou.

Man, some of those youngin need "Class" not to be lookin like trash.
