A contradiction in terms, from BushCo.
Mar. 16th, 2004 11:43 amChuck Colson, one of Dubya's closest advisors, recently made explicit a theme that Dubya is fond of repeating in front of his Evangelical supporters when talking about his faith-based initiatives: "Christianity is essential to a sound democracy."
If this is true, then we can only conclude one of two alternatives: (1) Dubya's clan firmly believes in the democratization of Iraq, but there is that "essential" prerequisite, or (2) Dubya believed from the first that the democratization of Iraq was impossible and hs been lying to us ever since.
I vote for number 2, myself.
