Chuck Colson, one of Dubya's closest advisors, recently made explicit a theme that Dubya is fond of repeating in front of his Evangelical supporters when talking about his faith-based initiatives: "Christianity is essential to a sound democracy."

If this is true, then we can only conclude one of two alternatives: (1) Dubya's clan firmly believes in the democratization of Iraq, but there is that "essential" prerequisite, or (2) Dubya believed from the first that the democratization of Iraq was impossible and hs been lying to us ever since.

I vote for number 2, myself.

Number 2 is more than plausible, but I'm willing to entertain a third option: "willful cognitive dissonance."

It's also possible that he sees the role of those christian missionaries rolling across Iraq as more essential than he's let on...

that's almost exactly what I thought when I read that post. Perhaps Bush wants to convert Iraq to Christianity.

I'm with Rapier on this one, I choose alternative 3b) Bush's right lobe doesn't know what his left lobe is thinking or, alternately phrased, he's too dumb to make the connection between statement the first and statement the second.

Y'know, in this alone I think Kerry will be an improvement.... YA Bonesman in office may not improve the security situation, but at least we won't end up becoming a bloody theocracy (double meaning deliberate)....

Bush Co.

Isn't the "Bush Co." in Anchorage, Ak. a Strip Joint? There once was beautiful girl name Jassy that use to work there. She had a voice of southern bell.

Oh wait, IC what your talking about. Sorry, Seriously in Anchorage, Ak. their is a strip joint of that name. But any ways, I have fallen for what my X's-husband has told me. Since he is there and I'm not at liberty to discuss what he has told me. Some thing is plainly see-able, just some people are not using the their common sense and thinking back during Dessert Storm's Events and Why we pulled out early and WHY we were there in the first place.

Now think about it....

UN has contract.
(A) violated the contract
(B) Found out w/ the nose of blood hound.
(A)+(B)= Deck of Cards.

In the old west, what happens if you tried to pull the wool over (1) gun slinger's eyes?

(A) thought (B) was bluffing for (B) pulled out of (DS). (B) was just testing (A) Defenses. Now suppose...(A) got cocky and thought (B) didn't have full deck of a challenge to take ( A ) on.

You got two Kings needs or desire to have. Now think about it what does (A) want from (B)want from (A). = (O)+ (C)+(M)= 1 King.

Have you every played the Game (Irish Dialect) "'Gwyddbwyll' is directly ( Scottish dialect 'Fidchell' ) Maybe you'll get better idea what (A) was trying to achieve from (B).

It's nice to see that he's given up the fiction about Israel being a democracy...
