Why in the name of Osiris can't pen manufacturers make a decent chew toy?

At the previous job, my favorite was the plain Bic pen, the white kind with the blue caps. Since this employer doesn't stock them, I have switched to plastic spoons and the Pentel RSVP pen (in purple or green). You just need to remember to peel the UPC label off the cap first.
