A couple of months ago I griped about how the shift to a U.S.-style diet has ruined the Asian porn industry, at least for still photography, because many of the distinctive features associated with Asian women in the 70s and 80s were due to their lower-fat diet. More evidence of that today in the news. I mean, look at these girls, the Pacific Rim contestants vying for the Miss Universe title: other than the shape of their eyes, is there anything to them that doesn't say "I could have grown up in L.A., or Kansas City, or Miami?"

Imposter Syndrome

Yeah, I know how this feels:

The problem was he believed he was a fraud, whatever the manifest signs of his accomplishments and success. If he published, he believed, he would be found out by his scientific peers and revealed for the imposter he knew he was. My colleague, in other words, was a victim of Imposter Syndrome.

We've moved!

It has become steadily apparent to me that, over the past couple of months, the service at drizzle has been going downhill slowly. They're operating on a shoestring budget, and so am I, and their "casual website" engine isn't up to providing the kind of performance I'm looking for.

I intend to update the home page and much of the interior over the next coming months, but the time has really come for me to make the move. Some of it still broken-- there will be moving pains. But the new place has twice the performance of drizzle, allows me to do site statistics, and has 30GB of storage, a big improvement over drizzle's measly 10MB.
