Yamaraashi-chan and I had a conversation yesterday evening, and one of the things we decided was that she no longer needs to be protected from the Internet by a psuedonym. She has her own Facebook account, which in true 13-year-old style is full of "OMG!"s, idle worship of idol celebrities, and the occasional shout of "Life is too confusing!", and it is under her own name.

Therefore, she would like me to stop calling her Yamaraashi-chan in print, and refer to her by her given name,

Omaha has a different last name, eh? Did not know that.

If I recall correctly, Omaha isn't Y-Chan/Storm's (legal, biological) mother, so it wouldn't be Omaha's last name as an alternative to Sternberg.

No, I married Elf back in 89. Storm is Elf's daughter from a relationship in the 90's (we are poly); I won't go into the details regarding that here. Storm has our last name (my full name includes my given name, taken name, original middle name, maiden name, and married name).

Storm's full name includes her mother's last name as a middle name.
