I guess there's no better way to distinguish that you really aren't, and want nothing to do with, that economic powerhouse 35 miles to the west named "Seattle," known for its coffee, its culture, and its liberality, than to fly the Stars and Bars, the official flag of the Confederacy.

I may have to drive out there before September 12th, so that I can hold a flag-burning party.

Actually, there is a US flag being flown, but you can't see it in the picture because Elf didn't get the lens wide enough to show it. On the left hand side, a ways away from the other flags, and flown low enough to drag on the ground, was the US flag.

Ah. Well. In that case, I'd be tempted to take a picture of the full ensemble and mail copies to the local American Legion, VFW, and similar organizations which get more upset than I about flag etiquette.
