I get to eat bacon for lunch every day. Mmm. Maple-smoked, thick-cut bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwiches, with a thin layer of horseradish-kissed mayonnaise.
That's a good question. Actually, of all things, I'd love to go back into advertising. I've worked for or with three different web-only ad agencies over the years, developing advanced back-end solutions for tricky needs. That was a lot of fun. It wasn't looking at the same damn WebUI day in and day out for seven years. It's not on my resume because it wouldn't fit and is very out of date (see next post), but in the 1990s I developed CGI or application server back-ends for, lessee... Pacific Power & Light; Baywatch (yes, that Baywatch); Oracle Magazine Online; Genielift Construction Equipment; Roche Pharmaceuticals; British Petroleum; National City Bank, US; and IMUSIC.
Bastid! I just finished cleaning for Passover -- no BLTs this week. :( Bright side : not having a kitchen meant it took three hours instead of three days. No, I'm not tearing out the kitchen next year.

So, what kind of work do you want to do now? Any ideas?
