Run, Diego, Run!

I'm so happy to find someone else who agrees with me: Those Eyes! Those Eyes!

If you don't have kids, that won't make much sense, but trust me. The art on the PBS show "Go, Diego, Go" is some of the flattest, creepiest Flash animation ever to grace the television screen. When Diego stares out of the screen at you, it's just creepy.

Of course my son loves the show. It is also one of his favorite websites.

It still bothers me that my 3 year old surfs the web, but at least it is to PBS type sites.

His niece (is she his niece?!) Dora the Explorer does the same thing...
Both shows disturb me greatly, especially since they do impossible things (the map on Dora always stands on the map, therefor he stands on himself...)

I'll never forget the episode of Dora where they had to go "through the hairy forest, over the double mountains and into the pink cave of chewing gum". Eventually at the grand finale Boots the monkey dropped something into the pink cave and they had to pull it out.
They where lucky though! Cause it turned out that the pink cave squirted gum every 10 minutes and the thing just flew out.

I was sitting at my sister's house (she has 2 kids) and when we saw that we where utterly baffled by the sneaky sexual references.
Then again, we had a great laugh about it, lol.
