Excalibur Cutlery at Southcenter Mall is gone. The kitschy knife store with the suit of armor out front has closed its doors, with no hint as to whether it will ever return.
While the bulk of its business was in knives, it was also the one place outside of the gay epicenter of Seattle, East Broadway, where one could reliably buy shaving soaps, razors, badger brushes, and blades.
