- Hillary Gives Aid and Comfort to the Anti-Vaccination Movement
- Ugh. Ugh, ugh, ugh. "We don't know what, if any, kind of link there is between vaccines and autism - but we should find out."
Here's a hint, Hillary: Yes we do. There is no link. None. Nihil. Study after study has concluded that the correlation between vaccines and autism is a myth, a chimera. Let your own scientists continue to do their work, and don't let hysterical political movements distract these people from that work.
Crap. Apparently, Obama is pandering to the anti-vaccination nuts too. - Worldnet: Gays Aren't Human, They're Some Other Species!
- This stupid, it burns so much I shouldn't bother. Worldnet Daily writer Craig Smith says that we should allow gay marriage, but since gay marriages are by (his) definition sterile, if we make gays stick to their word by imposing henious penalties for adultery, there would soon be no more gay people:
I suspect if married gay couples honored their vows, within two to three generations we would not have any more gay babies being born. Given most gay people say they didn't choose to be gay but were born gay, it would eliminate innocent people being born into a world that homosexuals deem so hostile toward them.
Smith is apparently completely ignorant of population genetics (disclaimer: I wrote that section of the Counter-Creation Handbook) and is otherwise shockingly unaware that most gay people come from straight households. (via Dispatches from the Culture Wars)
