Sleeping poorly

elfsIs it possible to feel both hot and cold at the same time in bed? Last night I had the worst time sleeping. Over the weekend, I bought a mattress pad, something I haven't used in years, and put the flannels over the mattress, and all night long I was tossing and turning, feeling too warm against the bed and too cold under the covers.
It's been happening a lot recently and I'm not sure why. There's not that much stress in my life at the moment. Just the general work - life thing.
