"Notes to self" from 2000
Apr. 6th, 2008 09:58 pmI spent some of this afternoon cleaning up and decluttering. I have a giant paper bag of old O'Reilly texts that I no longer need, as well as some other miscellaneous stuff, that's all going to Half-Price as soon as I get the time. One of the things I pulled out was my old paper-based planning system, the one I had just before I bought my Palm. Here are a few story-related notes that I made to myself eight years ago:
"If you're gonna have sex toy robots, some of them should be herms." Hah. I think most of them ended up that way.
"You need more giant robots."
"You don't write enough lesbian stuff." At the time, I thought that was a bad thing!
There's a complete list of every Xxxenophile card in here! Oh, yeah, because my set's not quite complete.
Mixed in a long list of oils and herbs that one can use for S&M is my Sun Developer's login and password. How strange!
And with this, I calmly and completely say goodbye to my Franklin Planner. Forever. Muahahahah.
How geeky am I? I spent most of the afternoon hacking on the POSE (Palm OS Emulator) from 2002, trying to get it to compile with FLTK v 1.1 and GCC 4.1.2. Unfortunately, the experiment is still a failure. It does not live. Bummer.
