My trip to Quinalt, very ugly monster SUVs, and the eerie symmetry of a wind-damaged tree-farm.

Mar 6: Damaged Tree Farm. There were a lot of these while I was driving to Quinalt, all splintered and broken. Kinda eerie.	Mar 7: Bad News. Yeah, I like I needed this.	Mar 8: Jay Lake's Halo. Such a dignified man, really.
Mar 9: Where Ideas Come From. People always ask writers where their ideas come from. Well, now you know. Bob has let his alien parasite become visible long enough to show us.	Mar 10: Sorry about your penis, sir. I mean, really, why would you do this to an already ugly SUV if you didn't have compensation issues?	Mar 11: Bare Oak Tree.
Mar 12: Mystery Pop Machine. When was the last time you saw prices so low? And aren't the Mystery buttons just enticing? I bet they spew Pocari Sweat or something.

Hehe. You need to visit more small sawmill towns in the interior before you get to see ugly SUVs. I mean, that one's brand new! And the paint job is only one colour!

And besides, that's a pickup truck. It might even be practical.

Eeep. We got the "service engine soon" light right before the piston broke.

Brings back bad memories.
