Maybe the issue is in the language. In a letter to an American blogger (http://letterstomarcjacobs.blogspot.com/2006/10/pardon-my-language.html) from a Swede, asking us to pardon their language. Apparently the Swedish translation for "areola" is "wart yard" among other things.
