I have been a naughty Elf. I have missed the last two publication events in the Journal Entries. For that, I'm dreadfully sorry, and so as penance I offer the following three new stories: On the other hand, if you just can't get enough, can't wait for more, and desperately want to know everything about Zia, Polly, and the rest of the lovely and sexy cast of Sterlings, you have another option:

Sterlings

Sterlings

Print: $14.19

The book is a beautiful 6"x9" trade paperback with an admittedly stock cover; I need someone to do better cover art for me, but cover art is so subjective and hard to nail. If I get 15 buyers in the next year, I'll be able to cover the cost of purchasing an ISBN number, and then I'll be able to sell through Amazon and Barnes & Noble. That'd be spiffy!

I'll be incorporating the Journal Entries Bookstore into the Pendorwright site as soon as I can.

You can sell through Amazon today!

At least for Kindle users.

No ISBN required.

It's a tiny market, but relatively little work and no money is required to reach it.

Skimming the FAQs suggests that it's a bit limited: basic HTML with no Tables.

OK for simple taxt layout, not so OK for more complicated content, and some people are already bitching about not being able to do typography.

well. I've seen how grotesquely inflated HTML can get when the author tried to do typography. And, frankly, I'm almost cheerful at the prospect of text in a format which doean't try to throw away my preferences.

I suppose it would be wise to check what sorts of cover get used for intelligent erotic fiction in the USA.

Then again, seeing the cover that has been inflicted on Charlie Stross for Saturn's Children, maybe subtlety is out of fashion.

Out of curiosity....

How much of Sterlings has been released already, compared to what's in the book?

Definitely worth it, then, and ordered.

I don't suppose there's a way to get an HTML copy, for those of us who prefer electronic books to physical ones? (As well as those of us who are impatient and don't want to wait for the book to get here....)
