elfsI saw Mars rover to descend into gaping crater and my first thought was that the last time I'd seen the phrase "gaping crater" it was in an adult book featuring lots of nasty sodomy, and that the new generation of rovers must be quite talented indeed.
On the other hand, it will be way cool if the bright "bathtub ring" they find inside that, uh, gaping crater turns out to be something quartzy and primordial. "Primordial Mars." Sounds like a Ray Harryhausen flick.
