Scientists announce water may be wet

Someone needs to fire the publicist. Today's really, really dumb headline comes from Science Daily, a press-release mill that spews out tons of entries every day, almost none of which are worth reading, but still I scan the headlines once in a while. But when you read "Brain May Hold Clues To Bipolar Disorder" you have to wonder: what else? Where else would you expect to find clues to a brain disorder? The pancreas? The left toe?

<velvetwood1> Don't be ridiculous. Everybody knows there's a tiny, coded Manual to Bipolar Disorder implanted just behind the appendix. It contains everything there is to know about it, and everything you might could 'find' elsewhere in the body is simply a carefully planted falsehood. _Duh._
