Omaha and I went into town yesterday to watch a movie, and before we went there I picked Zeke's Pizza as our place to dine. I've been to Zeke's on foot before, but never in my car, and so the first time I tried to get to it I made the turn one block early. Omaha, who was hungry and cranky, said, "You have no idea where you're going, do you? We're just gonna drive around and around until they find our bleached bones lying in the car."

I said, "Omaha, dear, your faith in me is touching. Touching, like a five year-old with his least favorite uncle."
