Someone recommended Shining Tears X Wind to me on the grounds that it would be perfect for me: "Bishii, Babes, and Furries." And sure enough, it's got all of the above: two cute guys who aren't aware they should be off somewhere else making out, two hot and busty high school senior chixxors who exist only to be demure damsels in distress, and so far at least one hyperactive catgirl.

It's too bad the best adjective I can come up with for this show is dorky. Because that's what it is. Disjunct, pointless writing, horrible art (the frame rate during the fight scenes is so bad it reminded me of 1980s American cartoons like Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors), characters that manifest new talents and bizarre behaviors totally out of character at the silliest moments, and poorly integrated and inappropriate CGI.

This show has a completely lack of respect for its audience: it's too mature for kids, and too stupid for adults.

Bah. Try sola instead. Boy meets creature of the night, with excellent visuals.

You might like 'Kamichu!'. It's about a girl that becomes a god, but has no idea what her powers are. It made me tear up in several episodes.

The anime although very short it was great and the fight scenes were fine. And dumfuck let me shorten your definition at the end whats between kids and adults teenagers. This great modern term was invented for that purpose.

sorry. but you absolutely DIDN'T GET this show. which just stated your 'immaturity'. as for kids and adults, I think you also got wrong this one. Yeah it was too complicate for kids and that isn't kids show. (by kids I don't only mean separating by age but also by understanding and 'brain state').

You just placed TOO HIGH hopes for one SHORT anime like it is, and you FORGOT that it's made from an GAME so it just was more like short 'tour' on game story characters missions stages battles and art and music just played the role of describing it the best way - not too serious but not too naive.

Characters were ok and what you call DORKY - so what do you think in REAL LIFE you have only ALLMIGHTY ones with greatly thought up 'steps' and action so we could admire them?
every live creature learn from mistakes or from good things and points.
the show was made hard but also carefree to not give only bad side and that you just need to move on forward to achieve better things and also to forgive or to point in right direction those who are lost or to just not forget friends in hard times.
to fight not only enemies but also oposite ourselves so we won't lose our modesty and composeness.
I think fights were done ok, if you count that anime was short and low budget one made jut to sum up and promote game. it as done greatly! they still managed to capture the story to lead us to each character and also circumanities of the piece..
Music was also beautiful especially ED/OP with such good lyric and harmonies.

you just didn't score nor understand this anime since of previous high expectations. as watcher and (adult one) if you consider yourself like that, you need to watch every piece equally and from the 0. or you won't find good piece pleasant and write such stupid comment to confuse others who didn't watch it but will find it good.
