I'd compare you to Bujold before I would to Egan. You're much too interested in people and their relationships to each other.

I believe it was actually Charlies and Cory that I compared you to. Like the other comment said, Egan and Vinge don't do people so well.

The first time I read the JE's was for the eroticism. It made my heart pound and my head swim, it was just so sexy. Every other time I've re-read them since then has been for the bits between the sex. Not that my heart dosen't still pound on occasion, I've just come to realize I get more enjoyment from everything that happens around the sex than the sex itself.

Or maybe I'm just fooling msyelf and I've become too jaded, now that I think about it I'm not so sure.
