I've been trying to figure out my earworms recently, you know, those songs that get stuck in your head for no apparent reason? I tend to wake up with one of those. I can almost understand having Lonely Rolling Star from Katamari Damacy as the song I woke up with this morning, but yesterday I woke up with and was plagued for hours by Figure 8 from Multiplication Rock.

My brain is strange.

Number nine will put you on the spot.
Number nine will tie you up, oh, in a knot.
When you're tryin',
Multiplyin' by nine,
You might give it everything you've got
And still be stopped.
If you don't know some secret way you can check on,
You'll break your neck on
Naughty number nine.

And nobody really knows
How wonderful you are.
Why we could never reach a star,
Without you, Zero, my hero,
How wonderful you are.

...Mr. Morton Mister Morton climbed up his stairs. Mr Morton climbed...

Sometimes if I pay attention to the lyrics I realize my subconscious is sending me a message.
