No point in documenting it all.

I thought, this afternoon, while the girls were busy doing something else, that I might find the time to survey my Writings directory on the laptop and see what I have, what I can assemble, and what I can put together in the coming year.
There's just no point in trying to document it all. So here are the highlights. Here's what I'm carrying in my head.
The big things I'm carrying in my head right now are:
Sterlings, which started out as a short story and is now over 110,000 words long, a real soap opera about a tech-level 12 (Traveller 1st Edition) colony rejoining the Pendorian mainstream, and the effects all of the weirdness has on the colonists. The big threads here are Rhiane & Illonca, Polly and Tau, and Dove and the Dekan Twins. There are minor threads, but I haven't put much attention to them, and I should, because there are political events swirling around my "soapy" characters that affect them greatly.
Honest Impulses, another short story that grew out of control and is now in its 30,000 word. While recruiting students for her third mission to her personal archeological treasure, Misuko meets Professor Raij Omertum, the finest remotes pilot in several star systems but a real jerk otherwise, who recommends four of his students to her. One of those, Shandy Oxenhollar, he recommends reluctantly and with clear distaste: she's from Misuko's homeworld and refuses to get neural implants, but using a strictly manual interface she's as good a pilot as he is. Linia, meanwhile, in her ongoing campaign to prove to Misuko that she is her own woman, starts up a cooking class at the university. Shandy is one of her students, and mutual attraction emerges between them. And then things get messy.
Princess Jera, the third story in the Aimee' universe. Young Princess Jera, just in her teens, discovers that she has magic talent. That's not supposed to happen: talent usually manifests along with the ability to speak and read, and the talented are quickly identified and brought into the Mage's Circle. While politics swirls about the possibility for the first time in history that a Mage may sit on the throne of Cortane (of which the setting of the first two stories, Barraminum, is just a colony), Jera takes refuge in the house of her friend, the court historian. She discovers a secret cache of forbidden history, which describes the last emperor to have magic power, that he showed it the same age she did, and the horrible and tragic end he met.
But there's a ton of stuff. I have unfinished shards of nearly a hundred Journal Entries, from a mere paragraph and notes to 10,000 word arcs (there are more of the latter than the former). I have a few unfinished miscellaneous short stories, two novels set in the Moon Sun Dragons universe, two novels and a novellete set in something I call the Yowlerverse, and the first and fourth novels set in the Caprice Starr universe. (What I'm going to do with the second, third, and fifth, I have absolutely no clue).
That's the State of the Elf. It can only get worse from here.

Not to be difficult, but...
