There's no point in describing it, you just have to play it. Katamari Damacy makes me squee! That is all.

So much love for that game. The last panel of the most recent Penny Arcade comic gives a nod to Katamari Damacy. Too funny. The sequel is even better. (Look for a title called "We Love Katamari")

(I can't help myself this time)

OT: The Chair Leg of Truth. That reminds me of the Hoe of Destruction from Ultima VII: The Black Gate.

Love the Icon! Don't know where it's from, but the guy in that picture reminds me of Doctor Scrachansniff from Animaniacs.

Wish I could play that game, but I can only play in 15 minute increments; it's the only thing to date to give me motion sickness, ever.

We actually talked about this game in my New Media class last year. I need to buy a copy.

Yes, and We Love Katamari is one of the best sequels ever.

I bought a PS2 just so I could play Katamari Damacy.

Heh. Yeah. Katamari is the sort of thing that can only be dreamed up by some madman on LSD. Which is why we love it. ;)

From all I have heard of it, I will be keeping an eye out for a version that runs on the PSP.

You're looking for Me and My Katamari, which is good-but-not-amazing, with a truly amazing bonus level at the end. :-)

BTW, I don't recall seeing anything in your LJ (and Google agrees, though I didn't go back all the way to check) : have you played Okami yet? That's still easily the most amazing game I've played this year...

Welcome to the fold. That game enraptured our household for a while.

If you want MP3s of the soundtrack, let me know.

You're just finding that one now? Oh my.

If you end up getting a Wii someday, get Elebits. I swear, that's how they came up with the levels for Katamari - you should see how trashed a room can get on four-player mode, when everyone is trying to do something completely different with the room.

Eeee!
