"Ravine" is the longest common word in the dictionary for which both its backward spelling and its ROT13 are the same: "enivar".

[Edit] Bummer: Wikipedia already knows this, and many other nifty things. And here I thought I was clever for figuring it out in twelve lines of python.

I, for one, don't care what it does to the letter distribution, I don't want to try to wrap my brain around the translation required to play, at least not without scratch paper handy.
