Normally, I loathe Todd Rundgren. I've never understood what the big deal was about him, kinda like I've never quite understood what the big deal was about Genesis. But I've had "I don't wanna work, I just want to bang on the drum all day!" as a murderous earworm all morning.

While he got insanely full of himself, I can still honestly say that Nearly Human is one of the finer pop albums I've heard. Clever songwriting, excellent production, and a surprisingly good voice behind it. On the other hand, listening to him rap is one of the more painfully embarrassing misfortunes I've had.
