Farewell, Uncle Milty
Nov. 16th, 2006 12:08 pmIf I were in
technoshaman's bar, I'd order a whiskey, neat.
Milton Friedman's famous television series, Free To Choose, remains one of the formative works of my younger life. While other kids in my class were watching Battlestar Galactica, I remember absorbing Milton Friedman with one hand, and James Burke with the other at phenomenal rates.
Milton Friedman passed away last night. Farewell, Uncle Milty.

If I had a bar, I think I'd name it Jake Stonebender's, and have jam nights... and, hell yes, it would have a fireplace, although I don't know if I could get away with the patrons smashing glasses in it. Maybe sell special glasses made with theatrical glass or something...
And, yes, God's Blessing would be at the top of the menu.
But, anyway. Thanks. I just fired a note to my favorite LJ-less Libertarian; he would've wanted to know.
