Well, it looks like I'm getting older

elfsI woke up this morning deaf in the left ear.
I went to the doctor's office, grateful as always to actually have the coverage necessary to be able to visit at all, and discovered that I have a number of rather ordinary conditions, all of which add up to my being 46.85 years of age.
The nurse was the cheerful type who actually seemed thrilled to be able to drain my head of earwax, which appeared to be the bulk of the problem. Meanwhile, the ongoing inflammation appeared to be related to a psoriasis flare-up, and I should manage it with NSAIDs and warm presses and the usual things that guys my age should do.
Bleah.
