There's some whacked-out Christian fundamentalist whose been haunting the secular newsgroups of Usenet, posting whatever screeds he can find on the Web and generally making a nuisance of himself. Today, he found this utterly priceless gem from Sandra Miesel:

Science fiction has been softening people up on non-monogamous, sexually fluid "marriage" for decades--Heinlein, Delany, and John Varley come to mind. Samuel R. Delany actually lived the scenario. Married at 17. Big advocate of "triple relationships" including pedophilia. Eventually he and his wife split to both go gay and he's now an advocate of S&M. But he's a multi-award-winning prof with a named chair at U MASS Amherst, despite having no more than a high school degree, and you and I are not.

A friend of mine was showing me a study the other day that purported to show that the more highly educated you were, the more "perverted" you were likely to be. We found it funny, but in our experience reasonably accurate.

The lady who told me about it was poly & bi and a degree, and I'm currently in a three-way with two bi-women, am personally probably best described as bi-curious, and have recently been considering accepting a slave, and all three of us have college degrees, in my case post-grad, it seems likely that anyone with a doctorate would be much more "perverted" than us
