I didn't get much writing done this morning; the bus was crowded and the woman next to me was bugging me about my "bringing work onto the bus with me." It kind-of annoyed me because I had a solid grasp on what the sequel to The Visitor should have been.

As I was waiting for the bus in downtown, I avoided a posse of twenty-one teenagers, all clad in pink hoodies with the logo were walking around and harassing bystandars, asking them odd questions about what kind of coffee they liked and what kind of drinks they ordered. It was very weird. I avoided them.

And believe it or not, that picture is how the Japanese see Honor Harrington. That's gotta be the cutest Honor I've ever seen. Kawaii! Usually, I like Akira Watanabe's artwork, but this is just silly.

Really nice picture but I was distracted at the grip on the pistol. It was all wrong. If she were holding the pistol right, her finger should not be able to reach that far in front of the trigger guard if the pistol was designed correctly.

I didn't see your posse, but at my bus stop we had the orange-hoodie posse. They weren't all teenagers. They all had matching backpacks too, advertising some presumably hideous orange-flavored coffee creamer. They were handing out free $2 bus tickets, which I thought was silly considering we were downtown in the morning, and those are 2-zone. I did not speak to them, as I have a bus pass and do not consume caffeine, corn syrup, or imitation foods.
