Dubious parental decisions
Nov. 29th, 2005 06:25 pmOn the way home this evening, as I was crossing the street from the supermarket to my subdivision, I passed by a woman and her two children, both girls, one about Yamaarashi-chan's age, the other maybe a year and a half younger. The mother had apparently required these children, if they were going to go out in the cold and the dark, to wear those blinky warning LED things bicyclists wear on their heads. Each wore a headband with a blue/white blinky in the front and a bright red blinky in the back.
While I can understand the urge, the implementation left much to be desired.
