Senility around the corner

The other day I was standing in line at the grocer's and I saw a beautiful girl standing in the line next to mine. She was a bit shorter than I with glowing brown hair, copper-alloyed dusk in her skin, and a smile lit with flawless teeth.

It's sad that my first thought was, "Wow, her eyes would be really hard to draw." What ever happened to "Wow, I wonder how I could get into her pants?"

Yeah... I am finding that with two women who love me, and (soon will be) living with me, I wonder less about how I can chat my way into $.woman's knickers. I still admire and act like a *male*, but I'm less inclined to do anything to make my interests known.

I generally have a hard time doing it... with dignity intact. Hence the reason most of my 'intimate relationships' are with prior friends, or friends of friends. Usually, I make a fool of myself when I meet a stranger who strikes me stupid (quite literally). Some have found this flattering and endearing. Most just think I'm a yutz. *shrug*

Hmm. Perhaps it is a maturing thing, that as males age our wandering eye gets tired. I suspect it comes on those of us in the monogamous world sooner because we have to, or perhaps were more disposed to it in the first place. I had the a similar experience a while ago on a well known pretty naked girl site where I found myself saying, "oh my gosh, look at the *light* in that picture, that is so cool... " :)

There are advantages to the decline of distraction. :)
