I think it was some medieval-themed restaurant, y'know, the kind with a big sand-covered mid-field where jousting and armor were demo'ed. We wore our silliest SCA costumes.

Scariest of all? At that age, I could already drink! I had been grandfathered in just as the state raised its drinking age.

Oh, actually, I meant the eye-glasses... =) (which I'm sure weren't there in medieval times either!)

Actually, no. Those were corrective lenses. I was nearsighted back then. My eyes have "evolved," as my optemetrist puts it, and now I need reading glasses instead.
