Oh my gods. Hot on the heels of my going back to primitive shaving techniques like a razor from the 1930s and brands of shaving cream that haven't changed since 1860, I find that Philips and Remington have discovered the idea "manscaping" as yet another way to market their products to men. Remington's ad is simply twisted in an amusing sort of way, but the Philips flash ad is going to give me nightmares!

I am sooo enthused about this, although I want to be the one doing it!

*chortle* At least I got to vote that I *do* like hairy backs at Philips. Those poor bald kiwis.

Well, there's always...

This one's been around for a while -- maybe you've even posted about it before, but for some reason searching LiveJournal is a royal pain.

The Flash intro to balltrimmer.com (http://www.balltrimmer.com) is, well, about as primitive as the characters they use.

Ah, the ol' knuckle-dragging days. Cute. At least they're advertising those little pen trimmers for their most likely use.

(And I thought that Remington ad was hilarious!)

Bryan.

Geez, WTF?

I did my "A HREF" right, I went back and checked the submission page. I had selected 'Don't auto-format'. And here, as I reply to myself, the link appears as I intended.

But when I look at it as it appears with Elf's post, it's screwed up and un-clickable. WTF, LiveJournal?

Sorry about the clutter, Elf. I didn't mean to, honest!

Bryan.

They just pushed out some new code. That may have screwed things up.

Ah, that's okay. Clutter is a part of being online. I can live with it. It's spam that I can't stand.
