PSA: Bug Zappers

The Larry's Market on Lower Queen Anne is having a sale of all of their "kitchen appliances." Apparently that section of the store, where I used to love browsing, isn't doing so well and they're shutting it down.

They have those hand-racket bug-zappers, which usually go for about ten to twelve bucks apiece, on sale for four dollars each. I bought two; one to replace the one I broke earlier this year strictly for pest control, and another for, um, "recreational purposes."

There were six or seven left. Buy 'em while they're cheap!

I also hear that they can kill bugs, but who cares?

For what it's worth, I got two at about $3 each (which may have been mispricing on the clerk's part; I don't know), and they'd evidently done a restock or somesuch -- there were dozens piled up there.

(Mind you, I was still horribly disappointed -- when you said 'kitchen appliances section' I started getting my hopes up for a stand mixer, but it was nothing THAT cool...)

They had those on Monday, but I expect that by the time I'd noticed they were down to the knicknacks that couldn't be easily disposed of. The zappers had been marked down before the 33% discount had been applied even when I was there.
