More amused than annoyed. Last night I torrented the second episode of Sousei no Aquarion to watch on the bus into work, only to discover that I couldn't watch it. Well, I could, but I wouldn't understand a word of it-- because I had downloaded the Spanish fansub. The Spanish team finished before the American team.

These days one has to be careful or wind up downloading the French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, or Hebrew fansubs by accident. I suppose if you're working on two languages at the same time, this is a good thing, but...

Wow. What a thought. I wonder if there are French fansubs of Mai HiME yet?

I wound up with a French copy of Nell that way. I'd gotten it for vidding (turned out I didn't need it) and spent an hour and a half listening to them gargle back and forth. French is the one language I speak that I actively dislike.
