I'm thinking about this for a bumpersticker:

My other body is a
Hecatonchires

Whaddya think?

Edit: Here's what it looks like:
I could probably put it up on drizzle as a Postscript or PDF document, too, if anyone else wants one. The paper's a bit pricey for the magstrip stuff from Xerox, but it seems to have come out okay. When I get the card driver on my camera working again, I'll put a pic up of what it looks like on the car.

1) I like it.
2) It'll annoy nitwits.
3) It's so well, you!

I really like it - since I first read Appleseed in high school I wished I was Briareos. ;-)

Oh?

Appleseed.

I wondered why you were getting into classical allusions.

The hecatonchires or hecatoncheires ("the hundred-handed") were figures of Greek mythology, giants with a hundred arms and fifty heads. (Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gyges_(mythology)))

Much more subtle than the Gothic blackletter "Dyke" that I keep wanting to put on the truck.

The font was, appropriately, Cyborg Extended, which is one of those fonts available from most true-type free font libraries on the 'net. I did the stickers in Scribus, the FOSS desktop publishing tool. I was skeptical about it at first, but Scribus really does work very nicely, and renders True Type fonts well.

I adjusted the kerning on the second line to make it fill the space, but I suspect that I could have done better on a letter-by-letter basis if I'd really wanted to.

speeking of drizzle...

The last lj post on your drizzle page is "Clarification" from "Sunday, February 13, 2005 9:50pm". I would guess that when they restored the servers, they did not restart your scripts.
