I wrote a new emacs macro for lj-update called lj-project; it calls lj-update, scrolls to the bottom of the buffer and then inserts the output of a program called currentproject, which spits out the table above. I've made some progress, as you can see, and this will hopefully keep me honest. I don't know how often I'll call lj-project, but I'm hoping to be proud of the output. Goddess knows I haven't written much to be happy about recently. (Okay, I finished Pyu Rika, but, dammit, that thing's been sitting in the Finish Me! hopper for thirteen flaming years!) I also added a new emacs macro to insert the heroine's name into the story since in emacs her name is spelled "Cheill<ctrl-c>8`ene".
Note to self: when you know that you'll probably be out on the road for more than an hour, make sure you leave with the right flamin' battery! The emergency UPS battery is in Lain right now, and it'll last maybe 45 minutes, if I baby it (no music, no anime, nothing to do but write. Hey, that's not bad incentive.) I've begun transcribing the first chapter.
Y'know this famous cartoon?

Oh, and
