And, feeling sappy, Snohomish County is going to try and revive its Carnegie library. I think that's fabulous. I remember when I wandered into Ballard and spotted the old building, now something of a small office center, and feeling sad that such a great institution had fallen by the wayside. It's nice to see someone trying to preserve the old places.
