Well... what kind of computer are you using? If you're running a Linux, it's as easy as getting the local package for that language and running the installer of choice. In my case, I just told the initial installer that I wanted English to be my language of choice but to keep all Japanese around. Everything just worked after that.
Yeah, there's a feature like that in Linux. I just hadn't figured out how to turn it on. I have to tell the OS that I want to use the Japanese locale, and then run the programs that should use Japanese. I really like the OSX palette though; it looks like it's a bit neater than jgiten or imja.
Heh, me too. :) Or I could ask my dad to translate them for me... he took about 10 years of conversational Japanese for the business environment (upper level management in Singapore, natch.)
