I stumbled today upon the Grand List of Overused Science Fiction Clichés. My first reaction? Print it out and attack it with a highlighter: green for things I've done, orange for things I've parodied or Shakespeared, and yellow for the ones I haven't tried yet.

Clichés are not in themselves necessarily bad, but their overuse shows that the writer has forgotten what separates the strong tale from the hollow: "the human heart in conflict with itself,

When is it not?

Dan Brown - wrote Angel Deamons and it's a very good book. It shows the truth with in the dark of Science and Religion...I know it has nothing to do with the topic.

But

I'm in love with the Author. So go buy his book...giggle. You do like to read don't you?
