Jun. 28th, 2004 01:37 pmGoddess, but I have now been without Usenet for less than eighteen hours and I am totally jonesing right now. Part of it is because I can see a conversation on the SF Writers's group in which my name has been raised, but cannot participate. Grrr.... And the worst part is, I can see that the Usenet cache database is broken and the program meant to fix it is crashed. I've advised my ISP about the problem, but have no word on when it'll be fixed.
Anyway, for your entertainment: The F3ll0wsh1p of teh R1ng. The One Ring! Woot!
And: Office Space Wars. It's Office Space. With Jedi.

Date: 2004-06-28 10:46 pm (UTC)I've experienced that before, but about 6 years or so ago, it's like I just walked away and migrated to other methods of communication. I don't know exactly when, why, or how, I just somehow stopped using it. No drama, no withdrawl. Weird how I just faded away at some point and didn't realize it.
