Well, yesterday I was supposed to pick up Yamaarashi-chan, but it didn't happen. Her mother was running an hour late; she called to tell me this as I was already on my way over there. I had family plans for the evening that couldn't be moved about, so we ended up rescheduling for Thursday.

I got home, picked up the rest of the family, picked up my friend Peter from the business convention he's visiting, and we all went out to The Spaghetti Factory. It was good to see Peter, even though he was up a few weeks ago.

Pour Kouryou-chan, though. You know how kids-- heck, anyone-- starts to learn something when it's important to them that they do so? Kouryou-chan mastered the days of the week specifically so she would know on what days her sister would visit. "It's Monday-- that means tomorrow Yamaarashi is coming!" She was so upset when she learned that Yamaarashi-chan wouldn't be over. Poor little girl.

And damn Tron. I'm in one of those Boss levels (have I revealed just how much I hate boss levels? They're boring and pointless, not forwarding the narrative at all, and it's essentially die- do over- die- do over until you "get it right." Can't stand them) and the game keeps crashing. It's the first major bug I've found in the game and it's totally reproducible. Grr...

Thanks for the advice. I skipped the Hunters and lobbed the sticky grenade. I made it through shutting down the second generator, but I have one important skill to learn: how not to get squashed by my OWN Banshee upon exiting. ;-)

Make sure you are a few feet above the ground(not to much, you dont want to take any damage to your shields) and that its always in a forward motion. :p I have learned from many many past mistakes like you probably have to. But those past mistakes paid off, I can now leap onto a moving warthog with ease and little worry of getting squashed. And the final hint for that level (its my favorite due to the awesome music when the covenant and the flood start their little war, Its so darn inspiring it makes you want to shoot everything but thats a fatal mistake) JUST KEEP MOVING towards the end, being stationary for any amount of time is guarunteed fatal, the flood/covenant will see you soon and make short work of you, their numbers are astounding. But I wish you good luck, since you beat the library level I KNOW your more than skilled enough to beat this one too. I wish you good luck ( it took me many tries too...plus a friend with me :p )
