I will not be watching THAT!

I watched the first episode-- okay, part of the first episode, of Midori No Hibi. I can't watch anymore. Okay, I'm squeaming, but that show is just too freaking weird. Weird with a capital 'D'.

Right now, I'm watching Maria-Sama, Big O (I never did get to finish it; finally have the set on DVD), and Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex. I know a couple of my friends are really into Midori No Hibi, but no, it made me uncomfortable and not in a good way.

I don't know what it is with me, but all the "really popular" series, like Narutaru and Midori No Hibi just don't resonate.

When you've time, could you elaborate on what bothered you about the series so? I haven't seen it, but now you've got me curious. Oh, if you're looking for good series' I have to put my plug in for BubbleGum Crisis Tokyo 2040, if you haven't already seen it. Fun, well written, vaguely disturbing at times. Good stuff. -HH
