I dont know about that presentation there :-p. Im just a plain old stark non-religious person. I just stay away from the subject if it stays away from me. Just wish the government followed its own laws.(seperation of church and state).
As far as the US was concerned, it took civil war for slavery to be abolished; and slavemasters happy quoted their holy books (http://bible.gospelcom.net/bible?language=English&version=NIV&passage=Leviticus%2025:44-46), saying that God was on their side.
